In December 2004 the operating eComStation 1.2 was released. Now it is possible to use up to 4 GB of RAM. Now it is possible to use up to 4 GB of RAM. New hardware is better supported and the installer have been updated.
That I think is the whole selling point they try to make. Nothing is astonishing about the specs, but the nostalgia factor is awesome.
And of course, it wont be plagued with intrusion or viruses as much as anything else which is on the market, I suppose. Still far too expensive for me to care though. It's a nice idea, but I never owned one.
