CAUTION: Internal parts may have sharp edges that can cause serious cuts. Please use caution and wear heavy gloves if possible. Start by opening the dishwasher door. Locate and remove the screws at the top portion of the inner door that hold the control panel assembly in place. Next, lift the door back into place, without engaging the door latch. You will need to disconnect the wires at the connectors and the ribbon cables. Always pull at the connectors and not on the wires themselves.

I recommend either labeling the wires or taking a photo before you disconnect anything. That will make reconnecting the wires easier later. To remove the control board, use a flat screwdriver to depress the tabs around the edges that hold it in place.
